It's my 16th birthday today (July 2)!

I'm really happy

, my family surprised me with an Oreo Cake (from Red Ribbon) when we were eating dinner and I had food in my mouth, I was surprised but then, I don't really express my "feeling of surprise" out loud...so nobody knew

. Hahaha!

They sung "Happy Birthday", and there was this part where I was pulling a bone from my mouth because I didn't know the piece of meat has a small bone in it

, my dad took a picture with my SLR. I rather not show those pictures.
And then this morning, at school, when I got to the 4th floor (where the 4th years are), people shouted Happy Birthday to me!

I was hoping not to spread it, sadly, everybody heard my friends' screams and everyone started greeting me. I could feel the love!

So the whole day probably went with many "Happy Birthdays" from everyone and many "Thank yous" from me.

Though at our Literature class, we were getting ready for our presentations (group by group), and I checked my phone for the time, since I had my sister's laptop (it was needed for the PowerPoint Presentation, they have projectors at school, so I can just plug it in) I had the screen to hinder it from the teacher's view, and besides, the teacher has her back on me (yeah, she was in front of me). Hahaha! Anyway, I saw a message from my sister, Erica, and this is what she text messaged me (not one thing is edited):
"To my wonderful Shobe,
who's my best friend...
Who gives me a shoulder to lean and always has an ear to lend.
(even though the leaning part annoys u, and the hearing part makes ur ear hurt, because of me talking a lot.)
To my wonderful Shobe
Whom I hold so close to my heart...
To my friend with whom I shall never part!
(u will always be in my heart, and never will I leave u, because ur my shobe, my half, w/o u I'm no one)
Wishing you all the joy & hoping all your reams come true!
Happy 16th Birthday Shobe!!
-Erica"
"Shobe" means little sister in Chinese, I call her Achi, which means big sister. While I read this, my eyes prickled, tears started to form

, and my friend Janz (she's a girl) saw me, and was like "Okay ka lang, Elly?" (Trans.: Are you okay, Elly?), I was like, "Yeah." and then some of my other friends started "Bakit yun birthday girl umiiyak?" (Trans.: Why is the birthday girl crying?) And I said "Si Achi kasi, nag-text sa akin. *laughs* I'm touched kasi eh." (Trans.: It's cause of my sister, she text messaged me and I'm touched by what she said.) I laughed it off while I wiped my tears, not everyone in class noticed, so no worries.

Janz thought our presentation didn't work that's why I'm crying!

But the presentation was moved next week since our group didn't got the chance to finish along with some other groups.
But I won't be having an party. I'm not a party person, I don't really like getting crowded. Hahaha! I kind of want just a small hang-out trip with my friends. And a get-together with my family.
That's all I got. Or maybe I forgot a few things. Hahaha!

TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN ROCKED! Hahaha, got to watch it last Sunday.
Oh yeah, my cousin, Kayla, gave me two turtles as my birthday gift! I haven't got a name for them yet! One girl

and one boy

. So anyone has any suggestions?
And what should I ask as a gift from my parents? Subscribe me for a year here in deviantART? Or more books?
The latter sounds pretty tempting...hahaha!

Oh yeah, add me up in Facebook, LOL:
